         Lilly

Lilly is our second Labrador, breed by us, she was born in 2005 from Jesse’s first litter.

She has proven to be a very quick study both with her obedience and her naughty bits, she is a typical Labrador cheeky yet incredible loving,

With her pleading eyes, and constantly wagging tail its hard to resist a cuddle, which as fare as Lilly is concerned could last all day.

Lilly like her mum enjoys the company of children and enjoys nothing more than being spoon fed a yoghurt from the youngest of hands, we encourage visiting little people to participate in feeding the dogs as we have found this encourages all our dogs to be calm around children and see them as higher ranking members of the pack.

Lilly enjoys swimming and of course tearing around letting of steam, she has a huge appetite especially for socks. She is a very alert dog, nothing gets past her, just thinking about taking her out is enough to get her bouncing about with glee.

Lilly is Hip and elbow scored, annually eye tested, fully vaccinated and regularly wormed, She is also a blood donor helping sick and injured dogs, she excels herself here lying perfectly still yet wags her tail loudly throughout the procedure, then thoroughly enjoys her cup of tea and piece of chicken.

Lilly gave birth to her first litter this year, 7 loveable bundles of fun arrived at the end of January 2008, we were very lucky in being able to locate a stud dog with the highly desirable yet rare 0/0 hip score, Charlie is a very handsome fit young working dog from Three Valleys Gundogs, he is a fox red, with bags of energy and dedicated to his job.

Lilly has done extremely well, she has proven to be a devoted mum, and seems to have enjoyed the whole experience, especially when the pups were old enough to play and chase.

In June this year Lilly passed with merit her Gundog club beginner Retriever Grade one test.

She thought the Rossette was a little low in calories for her liking but made us very proud.
